I removed sticks from slots 1 & 2. The computer works with the 4gb on slots 3 & 4, I guess all the slots are OK two. - I tried with 4x8gb sticks I have from another computer. With 32gb, the bios tells me 16gb available and slots 3 & 4 empty. So the cpu can handle at least 16gb. - CPU-Z find the 4 sticks and all the memory that is set up.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused, I understand that the RAM installed in the RAM slot 2 is not recognized. You may check if the RAM is recognized in the BIOS. If the RAM is not showing in the BIOS as well, this issue might be hardware related since the RAM slot 2 is not recognizing any of the two 2GB RAM.

Thanks for the details. Now all of a sudden all of it is working fine. There is only 1 2gb RAM in one of the slot. The USB issue and the shut down issue has vanished. I tried installing the other 2GB RAM in the BAD SLOT. I again got 3 beeps. I wanna know if I can install one 4GB RAM in one of the GOOD SLOT and leave the upper Slot (BAD SLOT) empty. 3) You have a damaged motherboard RAM slot. In which case, test it in sets of two (making sure to use the 1+3 slots or 2+4 slots for correct duel channel), then keep with just two memory sticks (not 3 or 4 - 3 will disable duel channel and 4 is physically damaged and probably can't be repaired without a motherboard replacement). I've tested each stick of RAM in each slot. Any combination of two sticks (the working ones of course) will default to dual-channel and work fine.
